When an edit completes, the workspace replaces the source view with a drag-to-compare slider. Drag the divider, or use your keyboard arrows, to wipe between the original and the edited result.
Both sides are pulled from the persistent library, which means the comparison stays accurate even if you switch back to the grid and come back.
