How Image Studio Uses Credits

Image Studio draws from the same unified monthly credit balance as video generation.

Standard edits output at 2K (2048 px on the long edge) and use a small fixed number of credits per edit. The exact cost is shown on the option row in the composer before you apply, so you always see the price first.

Upscale is the only category that exposes a different output resolution. The 2K tier is the default; the 4K tier costs about twice as much because the model spends roughly twice the GPU time.

If an edit fails, the reservation is released automatically. You are never charged for failed jobs.

Always read the displayed cost in the composer rather than assuming a number. The platform is the source of truth, and we keep dollar pricing for top-up packs in Settings > Billing & Plans.
